SNS Wins IAMT Impact Award for Article on Video Editors in the AI Era

Studio Network Solutions (SNS) has been named winner of the Best Journal Article prize at the 2026 IAMT Impact Awards, according to Sports Video Group. The recognized piece, titled "What Video Editors Need When Everything Is Changing Around Them," appeared in Issue 138 of the IAMT Journal.
IAMT, the International Association of MediaTech (previously known as IABM), hands out its Impact Awards annually to recognize achievement across the media technology sector, covering areas from product development to thought leadership. The Best Journal Article category rewards the entry that most effectively explains a business or technical idea relevant to MediaTech and that could help advance the industry.
The article reviews differing data on how AI is being adopted in creative work before focusing on what editors report they most want during the shift. According to the reporting, editors said they were looking less for new tools and features and more for community and mentorship.
