RedMagic introduced its 12 Pro+ gaming smartphone in China on October 15, according to GSMArena and TechCabal. The company describes the handset's screen as the industry's first 185Hz under-display "true full-screen" panel. The phone also features the RGB liquid-cooling system that RedMagic had teased ahead of launch.
The device runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with RedMagic's own RedCore R5 gaming chip. Configurations go up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage, GSMArena reported. The listed battery capacity is 8,400 mAh, with support for 120W wired and 80W wireless charging, as well as bypass charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
