Microsoft has begun rolling out its redesigned File Explorer context menu to Windows Insiders in the Beta channel, arriving with build 26220.9757, according to TechPowerUp.
The revamped right-click menu first appeared in the Experimental channel in August. At the time, the File Explorer team noted that the Windows 11 menu had become cluttered and slow, in part because each app that inserts its own entries adds work every time the menu opens.
The redesign cuts the top level down to commonly used actions and introduces a Settings page. Users reach it through a "Customize menu" link placed at the bottom of the menu, where they can choose what appears.
