
iOS 27 Code Points to Pro Camera Tools and HomeKit Upgrades
Reports based on iOS 27 code suggest Apple is adding professional camera controls and AI-driven improvements to the Home app.

Apple is preparing to release iOS 27 to the public following its iPhone 18 event, and early looks at the software's code have surfaced details about upcoming features, according to reports from GSMArena and Engadget.
GSMArena reported that the iOS 27 camera app is set to gain a set of professional tools. Among them are exposure scopes, including a histogram and a waveform to help assess exposure, both of which come in more advanced RGB versions for finer adjustment. Until now, the camera app has relied on an exposure value slider. The code also points to manual focus and focus peaking, as well as hints at variable aperture support.
