Apple has opened pre-orders for the iPhone Duo, its first folding iPhone, with reservations beginning at 12 PM UTC, according to GSMArena. Engadget reported that the device is priced at $2,000 and that the Apple Store went offline shortly before pre-orders were due to start.
The iPhone Duo was introduced last month alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The Pro models went on pre-order the same week and are already available to buy, while the folding model is only now reaching the reservation stage.
According to GSMArena, pre-orders can be placed through Apple's website and the Apple Store app in over 70 countries and regions. The list includes several European markets such as France, Germany and the UK, as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, the UAE, the US and Vietnam. Shipments and sales are set to follow in these markets.
