LG Prices World's First Native 1,000 Hz 1080p Monitor at $999.99

LG Electronics has announced U.S. pricing and availability for the UltraGear 25G590B, a 25-inch gaming monitor the company describes as the world's first Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display with a native 1,000 Hz refresh rate. The monitor is priced at $999.99 and is currently open for preorder.

Unlike some earlier monitors that reached the 1,000 Hz mark using Dynamic Frequency Resolution (DFR) at lower resolutions, the 25G590B achieves the figure at native 1080p. Tom's Hardware noted that the Acer Predator XB273U F6 and the AntGamer ANT275PQ MAX hit 1,000 Hz only at 720p, with the AntGamer model relying on a TN panel to do so.

LG had earlier said pricing and availability would come in the second half of 2026. Customers who preorder directly from LG before August 31, 2026 can receive two years of LG Premium Care for $1 and earn 5 percent back in MyLG Rewards. On a $999.99 purchase, the rewards would amount to roughly $50. Tom's Hardware reported the monitor was also available on Amazon for $932.
