
Grayscale to Launch Quarterly Cash Payouts from ETH, SOL Staking Rewards
The crypto asset manager plans to convert staking rewards on its Ethereum and Solana ETFs into cash distributed to shareholders at least quarterly, starting around August 2026.

Crypto asset manager Grayscale plans to introduce quarterly cash distributions drawn from staking rewards on its Ethereum and Solana exchange-traded funds, according to BitKE and Cointelegraph.
Under the revised structure, staking rewards earned by the funds would be converted into cash and paid out to shareholders at least once per quarter. BitKE reported that the arrangement is expected to take effect around August 7, 2026, subject to regulatory processes. The setup is intended to let investors weigh the yield produced by Ethereum and Solana staking against price appreciation.
