UK AI startups inforcer and Intropy raise fresh funding rounds

Inforcer has added features to its platform including Copilot Manager, Shadow AI detection and Threat Detection & Response, which are aimed at identifying and responding to both human and AI-assisted threats. Jamie Daum, chief executive of inforcer, said the funding would allow the company to expand its platform and help MSPs protect their SMB customers against increasingly sophisticated threats, particularly those enhanced by AI. The company says it has seen rapid global adoption over the past two years.

Separately, London-based Intropy raised €9.5 million ($11 million) in Seed financing, in a round led by Felix Capital with participation from Quiet Capital and early backers General Catalyst and firstminute capital. Founded in 2024 by Franziska Kirschner and YihKai Teh, Intropy describes itself as an AI-native operating system for the spare parts industry, automating decisions such as inventory distribution, demand prediction, obsolescence management and dynamic pricing. The company says it helps spare parts distributors, manufacturers and recyclers improve profitability and efficiency in processes that have traditionally relied on spreadsheets, legacy software and manual review.

Perplexity and Nvidia have made Portable Computer, a local-first AI agent, available on Windows machines with GeForce RTX or RTX PRO GPUs carrying at least 24GB of VRAM.
