TidalSense Raises €16.6M to Expand AI Respiratory Diagnostics Globally
The Cambridge-based company plans to accelerate UK commercialisation and expand its AI-powered respiratory diagnostic technology internationally, including into the US.

TidalSense, a Cambridge-based company developing AI-powered respiratory diagnostics, has announced a €16.6 million (roughly $19 million) funding round, according to EU-Startups. The company said the capital will be used to accelerate commercialisation in the UK and support the international expansion of its technology, including into the United States.
The round drew investment from new backer Cross-Border Impact Ventures alongside returning investors BGF, Airstream Capital, and Foresight Group. With this raise, TidalSense's total funding reaches €35.1 million (about $40 million), a figure that includes €9.6 million (around $11 million) in grant funding from Innovate UK, SBRI, NIHR, and Asthma-Lung UK. In 2023, the company closed an €8.6 million round led by BGF and Downing.
