
Scaleup Europe Fund debuts by co-leading ICEYE's €1 billion Series F round
The EU-backed fund managed by EQT made its first investment in Finnish SAR satellite company ICEYE, part of a round valuing the firm above €10 billion.

The Scaleup Europe Fund, an EU-backed vehicle managed by Swedish investment firm EQT, has made its first investment by co-leading a €1 billion Series F funding round for ICEYE, a satellite technology company based in Espoo, Finland.
The round included €450 million of primary investment and valued ICEYE at more than €10 billion, according to EQT. Tech.eu reported that the fund co-led the round alongside US private equity firm General Atlantic, with the round having been announced earlier this year. In May 2026, ICEYE said it had secured a €300 million three-year committed revolving credit facility.
