QuoIntelligence, a Frankfurt-based cybersecurity startup, has secured a new investment from Christian Lindner, Germany's former Federal Finance Minister, according to EU-Startups. The funding came through his investment vehicle, Christian Lindner Beteiligungsgesellschaft. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The backing follows the company's €7.3 million Series A round, which closed in April 2026 and was led by Elevator Ventures, the venture capital arm of Raiffeisen Bank International.
Lindner held the role of Germany's Federal Finance Minister from 2021 to 2024 and chaired the Free Democratic Party (FDP) from 2013 to 2025. Before his political career, he co-founded an advertising agency, and he now backs early-stage companies as an angel investor through his investment vehicle. EU-Startups reported that Lindner said Europe needs more technology companies capable of competing internationally in strategically important markets, and that he was pleased to support the company in its next phase of European growth.
