Two cybersecurity startups with founders drawn from Israeli intelligence backgrounds have announced new funding to tackle security challenges linked to artificial intelligence in the enterprise, according to reports from Ventureburn and EU-Startups.
Mave, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, said it closed a $34 million raise, Ventureburn reported. The total included a $28 million Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from investors at Lumir Growth Partners. The company had earlier raised $6 million in seed funding from Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures. Mave said the new capital would support its AI research, enterprise products and expansion. Its tools aim to cut the time analysts spend gathering evidence and reviewing alerts, helping security teams respond faster. The company was founded in 2025 by CEO Raziel Oren and CTO Guy Eshel, who both served in Israel's Unit 8200 intelligence unit. According to Ventureburn, large organisations often run dozens of security tools, leaving incident data scattered across identity systems, endpoints and cloud environments that analysts must piece together before responding.
