Autofixer, a Polish automotive e-commerce startup, has raised €3 million in venture debt financing from Orbit Capital. According to Tech.eu and EU-Startups, the company plans to use the funds to expand further across Europe, develop its platform and grow its team.
Orbit Capital is a growth-stage venture debt and growth equity firm whose portfolio includes Preply, Booksy, MEWS and Rohlik, as reported by EU-Startups. The venture debt structure allows Autofixer to raise capital without diluting its existing shareholders.
Autofixer addresses a common difficulty in the online car parts market: identifying the correct component for a given vehicle. Parts can vary within the same model across production years and trim levels, while manufacturers and distributors often use different product numbers and naming conventions. The company's platform combines vehicle data with parts catalogues, supplier listings and records of previous part-to-vehicle matches, using automation and AI to analyse data and create product listings.
