
Mistral Raises €3bn Series D at Over €21bn Valuation, Led by Samsung
The Paris-based AI company closed a €3 billion round at a post-money valuation topping €21 billion, described by EU-Startups as the largest equity raise ever completed by a European tech firm.

Paris-based Mistral AI has closed a €3 billion Series D funding round at a post-money valuation of more than €21 billion. According to EU-Startups, the round marks the largest equity fundraise ever completed by a European technology company.
Samsung Electronics led the round. The Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, and existing backer PSG Equity joined as co-leads. New investors include Advent, funds and accounts managed by BlackRock, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. A range of existing investors also participated, among them a16z, ASML, Belfius, BNP Paribas CIB, Bpifrance, Carmignac, DST Global, Eurazeo, General Catalyst, Headline, Hillspire, Index Ventures, Korelya Capital, Lightspeed, NVIDIA, Phoenix Court's Solar fund and Salesforce Ventures.
