FOX Sports has made changes to its audio crew and equipment for the 2026 Major League Baseball World Series, which opens in Milwaukee with the American League champion Tampa Bay Rays facing the National League champion Milwaukee Brewers, according to Sports Video Group.
The matchup marks the first World Series since 1980 in which both teams are seeking their first title. Joe Carpenter returns as the FOX Sports A1 leading the broadcast audio operation.
This postseason featured three series sweeps: Tampa Bay eliminated the New York Yankees 3-0 in the ALDS, the San Diego Padres beat the Chicago Cubs 2-0 in the Wild Card Series, and the Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 in the NLCS. The reduced number of games gave broadcast crews additional setup time ahead of Game 1.
