ESA's July: Artemis II Crew Visits Netherlands, Hera Updates Software Mid-Flight

During the month, the FLEX mission and Copernicus Sentinel-3C were transported to Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana in preparation for a launch scheduled for September.

Aboard the International Space Station, some 400 km above Earth, astronaut Sophie Adenot inaugurated the European Enhanced Exercise Device, using it for rowing, rope-pulling and strength training. She also presented the station's Veggie chamber and its growing space seedlings, and captured footage of Earth's auroras from the cupola.

Two European spacecraft, ESA's photosynthesis mission FLEX and Copernicus satellite Sentinel-3C, are set to launch together as mission teams rehearse parallel operations.
