Anthropic has publicly filed to go public, submitting an S-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 26 and planning to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, according to TechPowerUp.
The filing does not yet specify a price range or share count. The Wall Street Journal, cited by TechPowerUp, reported that the offering could raise $100 billion or more at a valuation of between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion. If realized, that would exceed the record set by SpaceX in its June IPO. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley lead the group of underwriters, and trading is reportedly targeted for the week of November 16. CoinDesk reported the company aims to price the offering in mid-November.
The prospectus provides the first official view of the company's finances. Revenue for the first half of 2026 reached $16.3 billion, up from $1.16 billion a year earlier. Anthropic also recorded an $80.7 billion net loss, though roughly $72.4 billion of that figure was a non-cash charge linked to changes in the value of convertible notes and similar instruments. The operating loss was far smaller, at $693 million.
