
AI Startups Draw Fresh Capital Across US and Europe in New Funding Round Wave
Convex, Multiplier, Delightree and Paris-based Shiplog have secured funding to expand AI-focused platforms spanning backend infrastructure, professional services, franchise operations and customer intelligence.

A series of startups building AI-oriented software have raised new funding to grow their platforms and teams, according to reporting from Ventureburn and EU-Startups.
Convex, a San Francisco-headquartered company founded in 2021 by former Dropbox infrastructure engineers, raised $57 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Insight Partners and included Etna Labs alongside prior backers a16z and Spark Capital. The financing brings Convex's total funding to $110.5 million. The company offers an integrated backend platform combining databases, functions, workflows, search, synchronization, authentication and file storage. It said the capital will go toward maturing its core platform, improving its agentic development tooling and hiring. Convex argues that AI-generated applications built on conventional databases can introduce data errors that surface only after deployment, and said internal testing found issues in a large share of AI-built applications.
