Sweden's Tandem Health raises $100m Series B led by EU's Scaleup Europe Fund
The Stockholm healthtech firm secured €86.5 million to expand its AI medical assistant across Europe, backed by the EU-supported €5bn Scaleup Europe Fund.

Tandem Health, a Stockholm-based healthtech company, has raised €86.49 million ($100 million) in a Series B funding round, according to Sifted, EU-Startups and Tech.eu.
The round was led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, a new investor managed by EQT. Tech.eu reported the fund is EU-backed and worth €5 billion, and noted its investment follows earlier backing of French AI company Mistral and Finnish satellite startup Iceye. Existing investors Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective and Visionaries also took part.
The company did not disclose the valuation for the round, according to Tech.eu. The Series B follows a Series A that closed in 2025. Sources describe the earlier round differently: EU-Startups reported it was a €42.6 million Series A led by Kinnevik announced in June 2025, while Tech.eu put it at $50 million. Tandem's total funding now stands at €138.38 million ($160 million).
