
Seed Capital closes €130 million Fund V to back Nordic startups
The Copenhagen-based investor will expand beyond Denmark into the Nordics, with a strategic focus on Sweden, backing 15-17 companies from seed to Series A.

Seed Capital, a Copenhagen-based seed-stage investor, has closed its fifth fund at €130 million, according to EU-Startups.
The firm plans to back 15-17 companies with initial checks of €3-6 million, targeting FinTech, cybersecurity, resilience, and AI-driven B2B businesses. With Fund V, Seed Capital will broaden its investment activity beyond Denmark to cover the wider Nordic region, placing a strategic emphasis on Sweden.
Founded in December 2004, the firm describes itself as one of the Nordics' most experienced seed funds, with two decades of history. Its portfolio includes Flatpay, which it identifies as Denmark's fastest unicorn to date, along with Trustpilot, VEO, Lunar, and Templafy. According to the firm, companies it has invested in have collectively raised more than $2.6 billion.
