Portuguese space technology company Neuraspace has raised €15.6 million in new financing to expand its AI-enabled Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Space Traffic Management (STM) capabilities, the company announced on 5 August. SpaceNews reported the amount as roughly $18 million.
The funding combines strategic private investment from Lince Capital, Explorer Investments and Armilar Venture Partners with money awarded under Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Founded in 2020 and based in Coimbra, Neuraspace supplies AI-enabled SDA and STM services to commercial, institutional, governmental and defence customers. Its platform draws on data from commercial and sovereign sensors, combining high-precision orbit determination, AI-based risk and threat assessment, and autonomous decision support. The company says these tools help operators detect and respond to collision risks, cyber threats, radio-frequency interference and other space security challenges.
