A solo developer has expanded a modding project that brings the bulk of Nvidia's DLSS feature set to AMD Radeon graphics cards.
The project, called DLSS-NR on AMD and created by Daniel Blanco, first appeared earlier this year focused on getting Nvidia's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering running on Radeon hardware. According to Tom's Hardware, that initial release landed on September 3, 2026. TechPowerUp reports the mod later achieved a 74% performance gain within a single day of work.
The latest Alpha 0.8.0 build, published on October 17 according to TechPowerUp, extends coverage to almost the entire DLSS stack. The release adds DLSS Super Resolution 4.5 (Models M and L), Ray Reconstruction (Model F), and Frame Generation with up to 4x multi-frame generation in games that expose the relevant inputs, alongside the newest Neural Rendering model.
