Google Launches Googlebook Laptops with ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, and Lenovo

On hardware, ASUS is offering a 14-inch Googlebook 14 powered by Intel's Panther Lake Core Ultra Series 3, with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Acer's Googlebook 14 carries comparable specifications, while Lenovo uses the same base with a 15-inch display. Dell and HP provide 14-inch models running Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processors, also with 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage.

Pricing ranges from $899 to $1,299 depending on the manufacturer and configuration. TechPowerUp reports that the laptops share a consistent design approach, using materials such as aluminium, magnesium, and carbon fiber rather than plastic, along with higher-resolution screens. Key features include integration of Android applications, a Glowbar element, and Gemini capabilities across the operating system, plus continuity between the laptop and an Android phone.

Android Authority notes that Google is including a full year of Google AI Pro subscription with the laptops, along with access to Gemini Spark.

Ahead of a launch at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit, Motorola has revealed a Bang & Olufsen audio partnership and shown off the Signature 27's camera and speaker setup.
