Two European startups have announced pre-seed funding rounds aimed at scaling their respective software platforms in robotics and car rental.
Kinematic Trees
UK-based Kinematic Trees has raised £585,000 in pre-seed funding to advance its robot-agnostic software platform and grow its commercial and engineering teams, according to Tech.eu. The round was supported by Haatch via its SEIS Fund, the D2N2 Early-Stage Angel Investment Fund, and the British Business Bank Syndicate Fund.
Founded in 2025 by Dr Stuart Wilson and Daniel Camilleri, the company builds a software integration layer intended to make advanced robotics easier to deploy across different hardware. Drawing on principles of natural intelligence, its platform packages robotics expertise into modular components that can be reused, combined and adapted for new uses. The startup is working with robotics providers on integrated solutions spanning manufacturing, healthcare, education and the creative industries, and is also involved in research into embodied artificial intelligence and cognitive architectures.
