
EIF Commits Up To €30 Million to Finland's Nordic Foodtech VC Fund II
The European Investment Fund is backing Nordic Foodtech VC's second fund, which targets €80 million to support early-stage agrifood technology companies across Northern Europe.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) is committing up to €30 million to Nordic Foodtech VC, a Helsinki-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage agrifood technology companies.
The backing supports the firm's second fund, NFT.VC Fund II, which has a target size of €80 million and plans to invest in roughly 30 companies, mainly in Northern Europe, while also pursuing opportunities elsewhere in Europe. The fund reached a first closing of €40 million in April 2025, and the EIF pledge, made as part of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group, is expected to help attract further private investors and bring the fund close to its target.
