DeepL chief executive and founder Jarek Kutylowski has pushed back on speculation that the language translation company is heading for a near-term stock market listing, arguing that remaining private carries significant benefits under current conditions.
Speaking on the Tech.eu podcast, Kutylowski responded to a media report from last year suggesting that the Cologne-based scaleup was weighing an initial public offering that could take place as soon as this year. He downplayed the idea, citing the anticipated IPOs of OpenAI and Anthropic as reasons for caution.
