
Danish AI startup Velatir raises €5M to expand compliance platform across Europe
Odense-based Velatir has closed a €5 million round co-led by Spintop Ventures and Ugly Duckling Ventures to scale its AI governance infrastructure.

Velatir, an AI infrastructure startup based in Odense, Denmark, has raised €5 million in new funding to expand across Europe and grow its team. According to the company, the round was completed in two weeks.
The financing was co-led by new investor Spintop Ventures and existing investor Ugly Duckling Ventures, with participation from Norrsken Evolve. Angel investors Jan Oberhauser, of n8n, and Thomas Visti, associated with Universal Robots and MiR, also joined. The Danish Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) contributed through a matching loan.
