Stockholm-based venture capital firm Creandum has closed Fund VIII, a €668 million ($750 million) vehicle that it says is its largest ever. The firm plans to back early-stage technology startups from pre-Seed to Series A, with particular attention to opportunities arising from the rapid growth of AI.
The fund will support roughly 30 investments over the next two years, according to EU-Startups. Tech.eu reported that half of the capital is earmarked for new investments, with the remainder reserved for follow-on rounds. The vehicle is larger than Creandum's previous fund, Fund VII, which closed in June 2024 at €500 million (around $560 million).
