Embedd raises €2.3 million to build software infrastructure for physical AI
The London-based startup, founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs, plans to develop its platform and expand work with semiconductor companies.

Embedd, a London-based startup building infrastructure for physical AI, has raised €2.3 million ($2.7 million) in pre-Seed funding, according to EU-Startups. The company intends to use the capital to keep developing its platform and to broaden its work with semiconductor firms.
The round was led by Seedcamp, with participation from Cocoa, Connect Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vesna Capital, U.ventures, Underline Ventures, Common Magic and Roosh Ventures.
Embedd was founded by Ukrainian technology entrepreneurs Michael Lazarenko, Maxim Gorinov and Valentin Gololobov. The founders started the company after their earlier hardware business was affected by chip shortages during COVID and later disrupted by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Repeatedly forced to rewrite software for newly sourced components, they identified a bottleneck they expected to grow as AI expanded into physical systems.
