A Berlin startup called Attuned is combining smartphone-based haptic feedback and guided audio with access to another person whose role is to help users calm down and feel grounded, according to Tech.eu.
The company positions itself in the space between clinical mental health treatment and feeling well. Tech.eu noted that across Europe, professional mental health support can involve long waiting times or expensive private care, while many people experience stress, sleeplessness, overwhelm or anxiety that falls short of requiring clinical care. A growing wellness sector has moved into that gap with offerings ranging from meditation and breathing apps to haptic wearables. Attuned's approach adds a human element to those digital tools.
